Indonesian cuisine is very diverse, with many different dishes from its many islands and different ethnic groups. Many islands have their own recipes prepared with specific spices. Like the Dutch menu consists of potatoes, meat and vegetables, the Indian menu consists of white rice with various dishes including chicken, meat, fish, eggs and many vegetables. On festive occasions, instead of white rice, people serve Nasi Kuning, yellow rice flavoured with sereh and pandan leaf. Due to the diversity of the many spices and vegetables, Indonesian cuisine is very varied.
Nina prepares Indonesian buffet using purely natural products. Last year, the Indonesian evenings were a great success. Keep an eye on the website and social media channels for new dates and come and enjoy this Indonesian experience in the oldest barn in the Netherlands (1544) or, weather permitting, on our cosy terrace.
